Job Description:

CS Associate at Encord

Join us in building the AI infrastructure of the future. The biggest challenge AI companies face today is data quality. Success of any AI application relies on the quality of the model’s training data. For 95% of teams, this step is the most costly and time‑consuming to get their product to market.

As ex‑computer scientists, physicists, and quants, we felt firsthand how the lack of tools to prepare quality training data was impeding progress. AI today is what the early days of computing were like—potential clear, tools primitive. This is why we started Encord.

We are a team of 100+ working at the cutting edge of multimodal and visual AI. Encord is backed by top investors, including CRV, Y Combinator, and Next47.

The role

We’re looking for an exceptional CS Associate to join our post‑sales team. You’ll deploy the Encord platform, work with large customers to drive adoption, and accelerate your career in a fast‑paced environment.

You will own the deployment of the Encord platform, working with some of our largest customers to drive adoption and value‑delivery. You’ll become a product expert, and work with internal teams (technical & commercial) to build a well‑oiled engine that consistently enables customers to get up and running successfully, at scale.

You will handle operational work (running onboardings and demos, ensuring integrations are set up correctly, guiding tech teams through best practices) and strategic work (ideating and executing success plans, expanding connections across our customer base).

Join Encord at an inflection point—over the last 18 months we’ve built a world‑class team, raised $30M Series B, and onboarded hundreds of leading AI companies.

About You

  • 2-8 years of experience in a client‑facing role in a high‑intensity, fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling in‑the‑weeds product configuration queries and communicating to executives.
  • Great communicator who enjoys running demos, hosting workshops, and building relationships with customers.
  • Derives energy from owning and successfully completing projects; balances detail-focus with big‑picture thinking.
  • Highly organized and excellent at managing time across many competing priorities.
  • Ambitious, cares about career growth, and willing to work hard and take on challenging problems.
  • Consistently performed in the top percentile of any environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and equity in a hyper‑growth business.
  • Strong in‑person culture: most team members in office 3+ days a week.
