Key Responsibilities
- Design and support automation and electrical control systems
- Program and optimise PLCs, HMIs, drives, and industrial networks
- Support robotics and cobot integration projects
- Assist with automation projects from design through to commissioning
- Produce and review electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot automation and control system issues
- Ensure compliance with machinery safety standards
- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations
About You
- HNC / HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or similar
- Strong experience in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley or equivalent)
- Good understanding of automation systems, control architecture, and industrial networking
- Ability to read and produce electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Experience working on automation, controls, or manufacturing engineering projects
- Strong understanding of machinery safety standards and safe system design
- Practical, hands-on engineer with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
