About the Role

We are looking for an Advanced Analytics Manager to join our Boots Media Groupteam. In this role, you will lead the evolution of BMG’s insight and measurement proposition, using Boots’ first-party data to unlock incremental value for Boots and its brand partners.

You’ll shape advanced analytics solutions, drive innovation in measurement, and ensure high-quality, actionable insight that strengthens client relationships and reinforces BMG’s credibility.

A Little Bit About You

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in marketing effectiveness and advanced analytics techniques, including forecasting, regression, segmentation, and machine learning
  • Experience working with customer-level and first-party data at scale
  • The ability to lead, manage, and develop high-performing data science or analytics teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence translating complex analysis into clear, compelling stories for non-technical audiences
  • The ability to build credibility and trusted-advisor relationships with senior stakeholders and clients
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities simultaneously
  • A forward-thinking, curious mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • An understanding of data pipelines and warehouse environments, with the ability to collaborate effectively with data engineering and platform teams
  • Familiarity with digital measurement tools and platforms such as Google Analytics or Criteo is a plus

What You’ll Be Doing

Your days will be dynamic. You might find yourself:

  • Leading, managing, and developing a team of Data Scientists, setting clear priorities and driving new applications of Boots’ Advantage Card data
  • Creating advanced measurement solutions across predictive analytics, causal modelling, and optimisation
  • Defining and sharing roadmaps, learning agendas, and innovation plans with senior stakeholders at Boots and BMG
  • Demonstrating how advanced analytics can unlock commercial growth and competitive advantage
  • Overseeing the delivery of advanced analytics and insight projects, including campaign effectiveness, omnichannel measurement, and customer-level analysis
  • Acting as a strategic analytics partner to clients, leading conversations around business goals, measurement challenges, and insight opportunities
  • Identifying and developing deeper metrics and measurement solutions for existing and emerging channels
  • Elevating the quality and impact of BMG IQ deliverables to drive strong client feedback and long-term value
