Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

We’re supporting a growing medical device company near Cardiff that accelerates the development and manufacturing of innovative medical devices. They require an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

On offer is an initial 12-month contract, outside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development Engineer with experience in complex electromechanical products
• Work within a medical device industry and adhere to stringent regulatory requirements
• Verification and validation experience
• Strong CAD skills (ideally SolidWorks; other CAD packages considered)

Qualifications

• Highly experienced Design & Development Engineer, ideally with complex electromechanical products
• Experience within a medical device industry and working to stringent regulatory requirements
• Verification and validation experience
• Strong CAD skills (ideally SolidWorks but any CAD will be considered)
