Financial Accounting Manager (UK BASED CANDIDATES!)

Location: London Hybrid role

Pay Rate: £56,376 per annum

The Role

You will support the Highways Development Control Manager in delivering a comprehensive highways and development control service. Acting as a statutory consultee, you’ll assess planning applications with transport impacts and oversee highway-related works from concept through to adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as statutory consultee on planning applications with transport implications
• Review and advise on:
• Pre-application proposals
• Construction Management Plans
• Travel Plans
• Authorise and monitor highway works
• Manage planning applications and legal agreements through to highways adoptionDeputise for the Highways Development Control Manager when required
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across planning and infrastructure teams
• Support service growth, including identifying and securing third-party income
• Contribute to the development of highways policies and procedures
• Deliver excellent customer and stakeholder engagement at all times

• Strong experience in highways development control and planning processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex applications and infrastructure projects
• Commercial awareness with the ability to support income generation initiatives
• Proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach
