• Academic Quality Officer

Responsibilities

• Support the assurance of academic standards across programmes, working closely with academic staff, senior leaders, external examiners, and collaborative partners in the UK and internationally.
• Coordinate key quality assurance processes—including programme validation and review, committee servicing, managing external examiners, supporting student feedback mechanisms, and maintaining accurate programme documentation.
• Provide clear, definitive advice on academic regulations and codes of practice.

Qualifications and attributes

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical ability
• Experience in higher education administration
• Highly organised, comfortable managing a busy workload, and able to work independently and as part of a supportive team

Role details

• Grade 6: £30,378 – £35,608
• Permanent, full-time
• Location: Cirencester, GL7 6JS
