The Role
An exceptional Digital Transformation Consultant, advising and guiding prospects and clients on the adoption of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, and AI‑driven productivity and compliance solutions.
You will play a key role in shaping modern workplace, information governance, security, and compliance strategies, helping organisations realise value from secure, well‑governed, AI‑enabled Microsoft ecosystems.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver transformation initiatives across data protection, information lifecycle management, compliance, collaboration, and Copilot readiness, while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business outcomes.
- 8+ years’ experience in consulting or technical advisory roles, with strong depth in Microsoft 365 and the modern workplace
- Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft Purview, including:
- Information Protection & Sensitivity Labels
- Information Lifecycle Management & Records Management
- eDiscovery, Audit, and Compliance Manager
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security, governance, and tenant architecture
- Experience enabling and governing Microsoft 365 Copilot, including data readiness and risk mitigation
- Ability to translate compliance, risk, and security requirements into business‑focused transformation roadmaps
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, including C‑suite and risk/compliance leaders
- Proven ability to articulate business value, risk reduction, and ROI for M365 and Purview initiatives
- Experience with Power Platform and Dynamics 365 in a governed enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, and Zero Trust principles
- Background working with regulated industries (e.g. financial services, public sector, healthcare)
- Microsoft certifications across M365, Security, Compliance, or Purview
- Prior experience in partner or strategic advisory roles
Responsibilities:
On a daily basis your varied role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Design Microsoft 365 and Purview‑led transformation roadmaps aligned to security, compliance, and productivity goals
- Conduct data, compliance, and Copilot readiness assessments, identifying risk and optimisation opportunities
- Define governance models that balance innovation, AI adoption, and regulatory compliance
- Architect secure, scalable solutions across Microsoft 365, Purview, and Copilot
- Advise clients on information protection, data lifecycle, and compliance operating models
- Support AI and Copilot adoption by ensuring data is classified, protected, and governed
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Lead executive‑level workshops focused on modern workplace transformation and risk reduction
- Deliver clear, compelling recommendations that resonate with IT, security, compliance, and business leaders
- Build trusted, long‑term client relationships as a strategic M365 and Purview advisor
Thought Leadership
- Contribute to Ingentive’s Microsoft 365, Purview, and AI governance thought leadership
- Stay current with Microsoft’s evolving compliance, security, and Copilot roadmap
