React Native Developer

We’re looking for an experienced React Native Contractor to support the development of a high-quality mobile application as part of a fast-moving product team. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers to build and improve mobile features used by a growing user base.

This is a 6-month Outside IR35 contract paying £500/day, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native
• Build clean, scalable and well-tested code
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver new features
• Integrate APIs and third-party services
• Optimise application performance and responsiveness
• Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Required Experience

• Strong commercial experience with React Native
• Experience building and deploying production mobile apps
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed agile team

Nice to Have

• Experience with Expo
• Knowledge of native mobile development (Swift / Kotlin)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Previous experience working in high-growth product teams
