Management Accountant | E-commerce Marketplace | Central London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Simpson Judge has partnered with a fast-growing, purpose-led scale-up ecommerce business is looking for a Management Accountant to join their London-based team, reporting to the Finance Manager with a dotted line to the CFO.

Responsibilities:

Assist with and oversee month-end financial close activities, including reconciliations and reporting, ensuring a timely and accurate completion of all assigned responsibilities.
Owner of UK and non-UK tax and compliance related filing, leveraging our local advisors where needed, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Support the management and execution of the external audit process, providing necessary documentation and being a key contact for our auditors.
Prepare and oversee the weekly cash flow forecast, ensuring adequate short-term liquidity.
Identify and resolve variances in cash flow reporting, proactively working through discrepancies.
Lead on Accounts Payable (AP) processes, ensuring timely and accurate brand payouts and operational spend tracking.
Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including membership fee collection and revenue reporting.
Finance Business Partner support to the Brands team, helping to drive efficiency in revenue collection.
Manage financial aspects of brand and customer service claims, working closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CA Fully Qualified
Experience within a consumer businesses is desirable (Pref. Retail/E-commerce)
Experience with financial systems and software e.g. Xero, Looker (Google), NetSuite desirable.
Desire to involve themselves in projects, work outside of remit and act proactively and innovate
