Project Manager – Solar Development & Delivery
- London (Hybrid 3–4 days office / 1–2 days WFH)
- 5+ Years’ Experience | Utility-Scale Renewables
Are you a driven renewable energy Project Manager looking to step into an influential role with real ownership? This is a chance to join a fast‑growing, high‑energy solar developer where you’ll lead utility‑scale projects from early development right through to delivery — representing the client while the EPC executes construction.
If you want impact, progression, and the ability to shape major UK solar assets, keep reading.
The Opportunity
You’ll take full responsibility for a portfolio of utility‑scale solar projects, working across feasibility, design, planning, grid, and handover into construction. You’ll be the key link between development teams, EPC partners, consultants, and stakeholders — ensuring projects land on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
This is ideal for a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to join a team with big ambitions and the pipeline to match.
What You’ll Be Doing
Development (Front-End)
- Lead feasibility, design coordination, planning, permitting and grid stages.
- Ensure each project is technically, commercially, and operationally ready for NTP.
Stakeholder & Client Representation
- Act as the client interface with EPC contractors and delivery partners.
- Build strong relationships across internal teams, landowners, consultants, DNOs and local authorities.
Delivery (Construction Oversight)
- Manage the transition from development to execution.
- Track cost, schedule, quality, and performance across multiple sites.
- Ensure HSE compliance and risk mitigation at every stage.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ renewable project management — ideally solar, private wire or BESS.
- Strong understanding of planning, permitting, design, grid and commercial process.
- Confident communicator with excellent organisation and stakeholder skills.
- A proactive operator who enjoys autonomy and a fast-moving environment.
- London-based with hybrid working.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Be part of a high‑growth developer shaping major solar assets.
- Real ownership and meaningful impact on the UK energy transition.
- Strong salary, bonus, and long‑term incentive plan.
- Clear progression pathway for high performers.
