Generator Field Engineer

Base pay range

Earn up to £45,000 with a company van, overtime and travel allowances, in a UK-wide field role keeping critical power online.

What you’ll be doing

• Install generators from delivery to operational sign-off
• Service diesel and gas sets, complete load bank testing
• Pre-commission and commission, upgrade ATS and switchgear
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control faults, document work

What we want from you

• Time-served or apprentice-trained in mechanical or electrical
• 3+ years’ generator installation, maintenance and fault-finding
• Knowledge of control panels, switchgear and schematics
• Full UK driving licence, willing to travel
