ROLE: Service Advisor
LOCATION: Luton
SALARY: 32k basic, plus bonus of 6k + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 6.00. Saturday morning on a rota 8.30 – 12.30
As a Service Advisor you will be the key point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle’s time on site. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive an outstanding service experience from start to finish.
What you’ll do:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service
- Schedule and manage vehicle service appointments
- Liaise between customers and technicians
- Explain repair work and costs clearly
- Upsell additional services when appropriate
- Ensure a smooth and efficient workshop flow
- Liaise with technicians to coordinate the work schedule and progress updates
- Accurately manage booking systems, job cards, invoicing and customer records
To be successful in this Service Advisor role, you’ll have:
- Previous experience in a service advisor role (automotive preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicles (training provided)
- IT proficiency and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and admin skills, including familiarity with dealer software systems
- Neat, professional appearance; team player with keen automotive interest
