Our client is a rapidly expanding beauty brand specialising in innovative, longwear cosmetics with a strong international presence. Their products are stocked in leading retailers and distributed globally, with continued growth across European markets. As the National Account Manager- Europe, you will report directly to the Head of Wholesale and take ownership of a portfolio of key retail accounts across Europe. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities, while balancing high level planning with hands on account management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key European retail accounts, acting as the main commercial contact for all account-related matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and distributors, ensuring alignment on performance objectives and brand strategy.
  • Develop and implement joint business plans with key accounts, setting targets across revenue, margin, and market share.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with partners, identifying risks and opportunities and implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, promotional plans, and product listings in line with company objectives.
  • Analyse sales performance and sell‑through data, working with partners to drive sales through targeted initiatives and in‑store execution.
  • Identify and secure new wholesale opportunities across European markets, building a strong pipeline of prospective partners.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new accounts, ensuring a smooth transition from initial pitch through to launch.
  • Own forecasting for your accounts, providing accurate revenue and volume projections and regular performance updates.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on account performance, including insights on sales, promotions, and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure seamless account support.
  • Ensure all partners adhere to brand guidelines, pricing policies, and compliance standards, addressing any issues where necessary.

Experience Requirements

  • Strong experience in account management within beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, or consumer goods.
  • Proven ability to grow and manage retail accounts, ideally across European markets.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including experience with P&L management and negotiating trading terms.
  • Experience in new business development and managing the full sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical and data‑driven, with strong Excel skills and experience using CRM systems.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
