AWS Automation Engineer

AWS Automation Engineers with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, automation engineering, agent-based automation, and RPA skills to deliver end‑to‑end automations using AWS-native tooling, low-code platforms, and full-code engineering across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation solutions using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch/CloudTrail, KMS, Secrets Manager.
• Build intelligent document processing workflows leveraging AWS Textract, Comprehend, and extraction pipelines.
• Develop autonomous agents using AWS Q, AgentCore, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen for reasoning, orchestration, and tool-use.
• Implement GenAI automation patterns including RAG, summarisation, classification, and routing using AWS Bedrock.
• Build monitoring and automation insight dashboards using AWS QuickSight.
• Build and integrate RPA automations using tools like UiPath, Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere, linking them with AWS APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Write clean, modular Python code for APIs, microservices, automation logic, and integrations.
• Use Terraform or AWS CDK for Infrastructure-as-Code, and adopt Git workflows, containerization, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune automation workloads for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• Automation or AWS cloud development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS serverless & event-driven architecture.
• Experience with agentic automation (Q, AgentCore, LangChain/LangGraph/CrewAI).
• Exposure to RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate, AA).
• Understanding of IAM, VPC networking, encryption, and cloud security.
• AWS Certifications:
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (must have)
• AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate (good to have)
• AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional (strong advantage)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, RAG implementations, or vector DBs.
• Familiarity with Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
