Childrens Residential Services Deputy Manager

The role involves supporting the day-to-day management of a children’s home dedicated to supporting young people aged 8 to 18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Responsibilities
- Supervise junior staff and ensure high standards of care and safeguarding throughout the service.
- Support inductions and assist with the implementation of care plans and risk assessments.
- Engage young people in daily activities such as community outings, family contact, and promote independence and social development.
Qualifications
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Residential Services or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience as a deputy manager or senior support worker within children’s residential care.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Over 21 years old.
- Willingness to pursue Level 5 qualifications is desirable.
