SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant

Role: SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) Consultant

This role is designed for professionals who want to make a meaningful impact by transforming global supply chain operations using SAP S/4HANA. You will play a key role in optimizing transportation processes, enabling efficient logistics operations, and supporting business decisions that ultimately contribute to better outcomes in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and transportation requirements and design scalable solutions using SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM)
• Configure and customize TM functionalities including freight planning, carrier selection, route optimization, and load building
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (EWM, MM, SD) and external systems (TMS, WMS, 3PL)
• Support end‑to‑end implementations including design, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on transportation best practices and process improvements
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify performance gaps, and ensure continuous system optimization

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) with S/4HANA
• Hands‑on experience with brownfield implementations, including master data and intercompany processes
• Good understanding of logistics and transportation processes
• Experience integrating SAP TM with 3PL systems and external platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders
