PositionOverview:
Areyoureadytojoinourhospitalsecurityteam?AssistSecurityGroupisseekingexperiencedsecurityprofessionalswithexceptionalcustomerserviceskillsandabackgroundinfast pacedenvironments,ideally,withinNHSHospitals.AsaSecurityOfficer,youwillreceivecomprehensivetrainingtohandlevarioussituations,includingconflictmanagement andphysicalintervention.
Responsibilities&Duties:
- Collaboratewiththein-housesecuritymanagementteam,followinginstructionsfromHospitalSecurityManagers.
- Managequeues,entrances,lobbies,wards,andcarparksaroundthehospitalpremises.
- Provideassistancetothepublic,offeringdirections andinformationaboutthehospitalandlocalarea.
- Maintainasafeenvironmentforpatients,staff,andcontractors,ensuringavisibleandvigilantsecuritypresence.
- OffersupporttoNHSstaffandrespondpromptlytoanyincidentsoremergencies.
- Utilizeconflictmanagementskillstode-escalatesituationsandminimizetheneedforphysicalintervention.
- Maintaineffectivecommunicationviatwowayradiosandaccuratelyreportactivitiesandincidents.
Requirements:
- ValidDoorSupervisorlicence.
- Able to commute to Kingston Upon Thames
- RighttoWorkintheUK.
- 5-yearemployment/educationalhistory.
- Abletoworkinafastpaced,challengingenvironment.
- Abletokeepcoolunderpressure.
- Proficiencyinusingtwo-wayradios.
- Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
- Professionalappearanceanddemeanor.
