Location: East Sussex Salary: £50,000 £60,000 per annum + company vehicle / allowance + benefits Contract Type: Permanent Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a commercially minded and driven Traffic Management Operations Manager to lead their Traffic Management division in East Sussex. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing teams, resources, and performance across the South East, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. The Role
- Lead and manage Traffic Management operatives across multiple sites
- Plan and allocate TM resources, plant, and supply chain effectively
- Manage the weekly programme, recharges, and operational delivery
- Take ownership of P&L performance, driving efficiency and profitability
- Ensure full compliance with NHSS 12A/B & 12D, health & safety, and site standards
- Carry out regular site audits and deliver toolbox talks
- Build strong client relationships and support work winning activities
About You
- Proven experience in Traffic Management operations within highways or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of NHSS 12A/B & 12D standards
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and performance
- Confident leading teams and coordinating multiple projects
- Strong communicator, able to engage operatives, clients, and stakeholders
- Flexible approach to working hours and site-based environments
Qualifications / Tickets
- Full UK driving licence
- Lantra NHSS 12D (M1/M2, M5, M6)
- CSCS
- SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
- NRSWA Supervisor (desirable)
