Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Data Manager to lead data delivery within a large enterprise retail company. This is a high-impact role within IT, offering ownership of data delivery, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement in a commercially driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of data/IT projects in an Agile environment
- Own and manage the data backlog (prioritisation, sprint planning, delivery)
- Lead a cross-functional data team (Analysts, Data Engineers, BI Developers, QA)
- Manage a hybrid model (onshore, offshore, and 3rd party partners)
- Translate business requirements into clear data solutions
- Ensure data quality, availability, and performance standards
- Champion best practice, governance, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Experience leading data teams in retail, FMCG, or similar environments
- Strong delivery background managing multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate data into clear business valueExperience working with offshore teams and external suppliers
