This role is for a Data Analyst with experience in Central Government/Public Sector, focusing on an AI project. The contract length is unspecified, and the pay rate is £450.00/day. The work is remote, inside IR35, and requires experience in DDaT, Agile environments.
Key skills include Python, data ethics, GDPR compliance, and data analysis in DDaT/GDS settings.
Responsibilities
- Auditing the current use of data and develop future data strategy for the Client environment with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Audit of current data collection, quality, and usage, including compliance with GDPR and government standards
- Mapping of AS-IS data collection and usage journey and applying statistical and analytical tools and techniques
- Applying fundamental principles of data ethics and privacy, and share data ethics and privacy risks through appropriate channels
- Recommendations for improvements to data collection, quality, and usage, including opportunities to increase capture of compliant first party data
Skills and Experience
- Experience working in Central Government/Public Sector environments
- Proficient in Python
- Strong knowledge of data ethics and privacy principles
- Familiarity with GDPR and government data standards
- Experience in DDaT/GDS environments
