  •  East Yorkshire | On-site
  • £35,000 – £45,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits 
  • Open to Process Technologist OR Senior Process Technologist 

The Opportunity

Ballantine Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a highly regarded, premium British food brand to appoint a NPD Process Technologist.

You will play a key role in bringing high-quality products to life, ensuring they move seamlessly from concept through to factory production.

The Role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position focused on process development, factory trials, and product scale-up across a premium product range.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure products are delivered to the highest possible standard, maintaining the integrity of the original concept throughout manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the transition of products from kitchen concept through to factory scale
  • Plan, execute, and manage factory trials
  • Optimise processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and implement solutions
  • Collaborate closely with NPD, Technical, and Production teams
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing

About You

  • Experience within food manufacturing, ideally bakery or confectionery
  • Proven experience supporting factory trials and product scale-up
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Hands-on, solutions-focused, and highly organised
  • Passion for premium food and product excellence
  • Confident working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
