Talentedge Technology have partnered with a well-renowned Advisory firm to hire a Cyber Security Consultant. This hire is part of the expansion of their Cybersecurity consulting offering. We’re seeking someone with around 3 years of experience in delivering and supporting cyber security assessments, audits and control evaluations. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and client-focused, with a strong interest in continuous learning and improving security outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and support cyber security assessments, audits, and control evaluations across a range of industries
  • Identify vulnerabilities and control gaps, assess associated risks, and recommend practical remediation strategies
  • Produce clear, high-quality documentation including reports, risk assessments, and advisory deliverables
  • Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to design or enhance security frameworks and controls
  • Align client environments with recognised industry standards and best practices
  • Stay informed on emerging threats, regulatory developments, and security trends
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal methodologies and service offeringsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through a professional, service-oriented approach
  • Identify additional client needs and support opportunities for service growth
  • Assist with business development activities such as proposals, scoping, presentations, and thought leadership content

Skills and Experience

Required

  • Experience in cyber security consulting, risk advisory, or security assurance roles
  • Proven ability to deliver client-facing security assessments or advisory services
  • Familiarity with recognised security frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to manage engagements independently and collaboratively within deadlines and budgets
  • Experience working with organisations of varying sizes and levels of maturity
  • Exposure to certification or compliance assessments (e.g., security standards or assurance frameworks)
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., security auditing, governance, or risk management credentials)
  • Exposure to penetration testing or vulnerability assessment activities
  • Understanding of cloud environments and associated security principles
  • Awareness of operational or industrial technology security considerations
  • Familiarity with security tools, monitoring solutions, or automation approaches
  • Practical experience in IT or security engineering, including implementing or improving technical controls
