Key Responsibilities: – The primary responsibility will be to produce detailed design drawings using Inventor suitable for construction in a timely manner. – You will collaborate on larger projects, ensuring the accuracy of colleagues’ work and identifying potential discrepancies. – This role will involve training and supporting less experienced staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. – Conduct site visits and surveys as required, while maintaining a working knowledge of statutory regulations and codes of practice. – Additionally, the Mechanical Design Engineer will design and detail both bespoke and standard equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications: – Proficiency in Inventor and 3D design software is essential for the Mechanical Design Engineer role. – Candidates should have a strong understanding of statutory regulations and codes of practice, including EN standards and CE marking. – Experience in designing bespoke and standard equipment is highly desirable. – Effective communication skills are necessary for collaboration with team members and other departments. – A strong ability to produce accurate and detailed design drawings is required.
