The Role

We’re looking for five inspiring technical leaders to guide cross‑functional engineering teams across multiple product areas. This is a hands‑on leadership role that balances delivery leadership with impactful ownership of high‑value product areas.

Your team may focus on:

  • Workflow and automation improvements
  • Core platform scalability and resilience

Focus areas rotate annually, ensuring ongoing growth and variety.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a hands‑on Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead and develop a team of 2–6 engineers, running 1:1s and supporting growth
  • Influence architecture, design patterns, and tech decisions across the platform
  • Partner with product managers to shape priorities and delivery outcomes
  • Guide teams in designing, building, testing and shipping new features
  • Play a key role in hiring the next generation of engineering talent
  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration and engineering excellence
  • Remain technically hands‑on, especially while teams scale

We’re seeking strong full‑stack engineers who lead by example. Leadership titles aren’t essential – but leadership behaviour is.

Qualifications & Fit

  • A strong full‑stack engineer with deep problem‑solving instincts
  • Comfortable leading technical direction and coaching others
  • Skilled at breaking down complexity into clear actions
  • Emotionally intelligent and great at aligning teams
  • Confident challenging assumptions and navigating ambiguity
  • Motivated to build elegant, scalable, future‑ready solutions
  • Passionate about learning, improvement and collaboration

Core stack includes: Experience with large‑scale, complex systems is a major advantage.
