We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Southern Water team based in Kent, Sussex, and Hampshire. Are you an experienced project professional looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a Project Manager to join our thriving water business, where you’ll lead exciting design and build projects across our non‑infrastructure, water, and wastewater portfolio. What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Manager, you’ll be working within the Southern Water delivery team, supporting them in delivering high‑quality water and wastewater projects. Your day‑to‑day will include:
- Leading projects from conception through to handover, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety throughout
- Building and nurturing relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Managing site teams and coordinating multiple subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Taking P&L responsibility for your project portfolio, delivering and enhancing margins
- Planning and monitoring projects, ensuring all compliance documentation is completed accurately and promptly
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if
- You hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) with experience within regulated utilities, infrastructure, or the built environment sector
- You have strong relationship‑building skills and a proven ability to exceed client expectations
- You possess excellent NEC3/NEC4 contractual and commercial awareness
- You demonstrate collaborative behaviours and can lead project delivery by example
- You hold a valid driving licence, Disability Confident
