Key points
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Business required.
• 3-5 years in the aerospace industry with a working knowledge of aerospace, commercial, and military programs.
• Possess solid PC skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; skills in manipulating Excel spreadsheets critical.
Successful work history with established employer, having a proven track record of revenue-based results in managing large aerospace primes at management levels within the organizations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop extensive knowledge of company products, applications, and strategic focus/objectives.
- Develop superior customer relationships by calling accounts frequently and effectively, bringing value to the customer and enabling RBC to gain a competitive advantage for RBC products. Maintain key information on our customers’ organizations, decision makers, and company goals.
- Ability to keep abreast of and understand the global aerospace marketplace regarding industry developments for OEM and Aftermarket (distribution) channels, i.e., customer expectations, acquisitions, industry trends, price/volume information, and competitor activities.
- Ability to help develop strategic and tactical objectives for the business by customer account to meet and surpass sales plan objectives. Identify new market opportunities and develop them into viable sales orders.
- Maintain current business contracts while growing the territory through market share gain at the account base, new customer signing, and new applications brought to the RBC business units on targeted existing and targeted new programs.
- Assess each business situation from all competitive aspects. Be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be capable of contributing to LTA negotiations from a commercial position and a terms and conditions standpoint, both externally and internally.
- Provide a high level of customer service to the account base through detailed communication and coordination between the customers’ needs, the RBC management team, and the manufacturing sites.
- Draft useful written summaries about customers regularly to keep RBC sales management, product management, and upper management informed on all account activities and developments. Maintain these summaries accurately and up to date to RBC expectations.
- Keep a close working relationship with the company’s RBC Divisions and other sales engineers.
- Comply with company policies regarding sales forecasting, expense reporting, and corporate ethics
- Team leadership, coaching and support.
Business travels
- Travel is required for this position :
- Travel is expected to be around 50%.

- Capable of successful demonstration in interfacing with purchasing, engineering, and program management groups in customer bases managed.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Capable of problem-solving and providing technical and commercial business solutions using reason and deduction.
- Strong analytical skills to intuitively build data into useful information, interpret it, and effectively communicate results.
- Able to identify trends and strategic opportunities that fit into the goals and objectives of the company and its individual divisions.
- Self-driven, energetic, aggressive, and detail-oriented.
- Display professional presence and credibility.
- Highly organized to meet management deadlines.
- Must have aerospace bearings and component sales history.
- Team leadership skills are a must.
