Role Description
They are seeking a dedicated full-time Control Systems Engineer to join their team on-site in Glasgow. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining control systems and control panels, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving system functionality. The engineer will be responsible for design and testing process control systems and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of system designs. This position requires hands-on problem-solving, as well as collaboration with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Process Control and Control Panel Systems Design (using AutoCAD)
- Strong background in Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues through effective Troubleshooting
- Experience with system diagnostics, testing, and maintenance
- Familiarity with industry standards, tools, and protocols related to control systems
- Minimum of HNC Electrical Engineering, Systems, or Control Engineering, or a related field
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with working in on-site roles in technical environments is a plus
