Are you someone who enjoys making systems work smoothly, improving services, and ensuring things are done properly and transparently? Do you have an eye for detail, a head for numbers, and a passion for doing the right thing? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our team.

We’re looking for a Funding Operations Manager to help oversee our designated financial assistance schemes — making sure funding decisions are accurate, fair and compliant, and that our reporting to government meets the highest standards. This role plays a key part in helping residents access essential support, while ensuring the Council meets all audit, financial and reporting obligations.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the service, supervise and support staff, and be the go to person for complex cases, funding approvals and risk related queries. You’ll also take the lead in preparing our statutory and government required reporting — providing clear data, insight and assurance that helps protect the Council’s funding and demonstrates the impact of our work.

If you enjoy combining people leadership, data analysis, governance assurance and meaningful public service, this role offers a fantastic balance.
