Salary: £40k – 42k per year + study support
We are working with a fantastic business based in central Manchester to recruit a part qualified Management Accountant.
In this role, you will play a key role in the transformation and development of a growing division within this large group, and help develop the finance function brand across the group. This organisation is currently undergoing a number of key projects to transform the business, in which you as the successful candidate will get exposure to.
As Management Accountant your role will consist of:
- Preparing monthly management accounts for large division
- Preparing reports to be delivered to key stakeholders and the wider business
- Putting together packs which provide insightful information to be used for decision-making processes
- Posting accruals and prepayments
- Analysing financial performance on a weekly and monthly basis, with results presented to Senior Management
- Being a key point of contact with external auditors
- Supporting with key projects as required
- Developing the cost accounting process and control
- Identifying efficiencies and being proactive in improving and changing processes for the better
If you are:
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience
- Experienced in producing management accounts
- Strong analytically with a passion for data
- Well versed with partnering and building relationships with key stakeholders
- Organised and communicate effectively with people
- Ambitious to continue with your studies and want to really make an impact in a business that offers growth and progression
