Staff Python Engineer

• You’ll be joining a high‑calibre, distributed engineering team that genuinely cares about craft. Staff engineers here don’t just ship features they set the technical direction, mentor other engineers, and tackle the hardest problems in the stack.

What You’ll Do:

• Architecture & Design: Own large cross‑cutting technical initiatives. Design scalable, distributed systems that process high‑volume financial transactions reliably.
• Technical Leadership: Set the bar for engineering quality. Lead technical reviews, define best practices, and be the go‑to voice on Python architecture decisions.
• Mentorship & Growth: Uplift the entire engineering team. Coach senior engineers, run deep‑diving knowledge sessions, and help others grow their technical chops.
• Delivery at Scale: Drive projects from ambiguous problem to production with confidence. Balance velocity with rigor in a regulated financial environment.
• Reliability & Security: Champion observability, fault tolerance, and security‑by‑design. Build systems that handle failure gracefully and audit trails that regulators love.
• Cross‑functional Impact: Partner closely with Product, Compliance, and Data. Translate complex business requirements into elegant, maintainable technical solutions.
