JOB PURPOSE
TheDataAnalyticsCentreofEnablement(CoE)isseekingaBIAnalysttojoinourteam.Theidealcandidatewillpossessasolidbackgroundindataanalytics.Keyresponsibilitiesincludedevelopingandupdatingdataanalyticstrainingmaterials,establishingbestpracticesandstandards,supportingbusinessfunctionswithsolutiondevelopmentandonboardingtoourtoolsandplatforms,andcollaboratingwithstakeholderstodriveinnovationindataanalyticsacrosstheorganisation.
TheDataAnalyticsCoEteamisanintegralpartofthewiderDataAnalytics&Integrationteam,whichalsoincludesDataScience,DataEngineeringandDataManagementteams.TheteamworkscloselywithagrowingnumberofinternalstakeholdersacrosseasyJetonmultipletransformationprojects.
JOBACCOUNTABILITIES
- Developreports,visualisations,andpresentationstocommunicatestrategicfindingsandpresentinsightsasactionablerecommendationstokeystakeholders,enablingtheorganisationtoimproveitsbusinessprocessesandmakeinformed decisions.
- SupporttheBIAnalystcommunityasagrowingandthrivingcommunityofpractice.
- Analysecomplexdataandperformad-hocanalysistoanswerbusinessquestionsandseekdata-basedinsightsforbusinessoperationsimprovement.
- Supportwithdesignanddeliveryoftechnicaltrainingforanalyticaltoolsandtheirassociatedwaysofworking.
- Beanadvocateforthedataanalyticsoperatingmodel,encouragingadoptionofbestpracticeswithintheBIAnalystcommunity.
- Haveeffectivecommunication&storytellingskillstocommunicateimportantfindingsandproviderecommendationstobothtechnicalandnon-technicalstakeholdersinaclearandunderstandableway.
- Championdatafluencyandself-serveanalytics,engagingwithstakeholderstoshowwhydataisimportantandhowtocreate,interpretandcommunicateinsightseffectively.
- Ensurethatdatatoolsandreportsarewell-explainedanddocumented,aswellaseducatingcolleaguesaboutsuchbestpractices;providinganunderstandingofhowtousetheinformationeffectivelytoachievedesiredoutcomes.

- Experiencewithorcommitmenttolearnoneormorecodinglanguage(e.g.SQL,Python)toextract,manipulateandsummarisedatafromlargedatabases.
- Experiencewithbusinessintelligence/datavisualisationtools(suchasTableau,Thoughtspot,PowerBI)
- Practicaldatabaseskillswithfocusondataextractionandtransformationintoactionableinsights.
- Alogicalthinkerwithagoodanalyticalbackground.
- Motivated,results-focussedself-starter,comfortableinafastpacedandchallengingenvironment.
- Abilitytocommunicateclearlyandconfidentlywithstakeholders.
- Stronginterpersonalskills–abilitytobuildandmaintainrelationshipswithinternalstakeholders.
