Warehouse Parcel Sorter

Connect Appointments is recruiting Parcel Sorters to join an established parcel distribution business based in Newbridge on a temporary ongoing basis.

Our client operates a busy parcel sorting facility, offering a choice of night shift or back shift across a 5-days-out-of-7 working pattern.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position – 35 hours per week
• Choice of two shifts:
  • Night shift: 3am to 11:30am
  • Back shift: 3pm to finish
• 12.71 per hour – paid weekly
• Full training provided

As a Parcel Sorter, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading delivery vans accurately and efficiently
• Picking and transporting customer orders within the warehouse
• Ensuring all loaded and unloaded items match relevant paperwork
• Reporting any damaged or missing items to supervisors
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment

To be considered as a Parcel Sorter, you will need:

• Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
• Previous experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment is advantageous – full training provided
• Strong teamworking skills and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision
