Your new role As Production Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational performance of a key production division, leading end to end manufacturing activity to ensure safe, efficient and cost effective operations. You will oversee daily production, working closely with Planning to optimise scheduling, resource allocation and output, while ensuring quality and delivery expectations are consistently achieved. A significant part of the role will involve driving continuous improvement initiatives, improving KPIs across safety, quality, cost and waste, and maximising equipment performance in collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance. You will also play a critical role in people leadership, fostering engagement, developing talent and building a high performing, accountable team within a modern manufacturing environment. What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced manufacturing or production leader with a proven track record of managing high volume operations within a structured industrial environment. You will be comfortable leading large teams, driving performance through clear communication, and managing change through continuous improvement programmes. Strong operational planning, problem solving and financial awareness are essential, alongside a solid understanding of quality systems, health and safety compliance and employment legislation. You will be a confident communicator, capable of working cross functionally and reporting at senior leadership and board level.
