Field Service Engineer – MFD / Print (Walking role)

We are a growing and customer-focused provider of managed print and document solutions, delivering industry-leading MFD (Multi-Functional Device) technology to businesses across the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of MFDs and print equipment across your assigned region. You will play a key role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain MFDs, printers, and associated software
- Diagnose and repair faults on-site and remotely
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing
- Manage service calls efficiently within agreed SLAs
- Provide technical support and training to customers where required
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Build strong relationships with clients and represent the company professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer within the MFD / print industry
- Strong knowledge of Ricoh products is essential and any Papercut exposure would advantageous
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Strong IT/networking knowledge (TCP/IP, scanning, print drivers)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills
- Manufacturer accreditations or certifications
- Experience with print management software (e.g. PaperCut, Equitrac)
- Basic knowledge of Windows server environments
