Transport Contracts Officer

Overview

Working with the passenger transport teams to provide assurance on transport service operations, covering Home to School transport, Public transport and Fleet inhouse services. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our contracts are set up across our transport and finance systems, adhering to procurement and legal requirements. Identifying and analysing gaps or inconsistencies, reporting directly to the Head of Passenger Transport Service.

Responsibilities

• Provide assurance on transport service operations across Home to School transport, Public transport and Fleet inhouse services.
• Ensure contracts are set up across transport and finance systems, adhering to procurement and legal requirements.
• Identify and analyse gaps or inconsistencies and report findings directly to the Head of Passenger Transport Service.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of transport policies.
• Experience with procurement, finance/budgets and contract management.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines.
