Our client, a leading defence organisation, urgently require an experienced VR Developer to join the team on a permanent basis.
In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:
- Significant experience within the VR Domain
- Experienced with Unreal Engine, along with wider coding experience
- Background gained within the Defence sector is highly beneficial
- Able to obtain SC Cleared (candidates with SC will be prioritised)
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
- Support aviation division with the development of VR Domains
- Enabling projects in these areas at a design, development and deployment level
- Expand the VR environment to represent new surface operation elements
- Enhance user interaction mechanics, including UI/UX for operations personnel, real-time overlays for system state, and scenario branching
- Integrate multi-user capabilities to support collaborative simulations
- Maintain hardware specifications as they evolve and are made available, including CAD model fidelity and functional approximations
- Link scenarios to training and operational goals
- Support the regular sprint reviews and joint development activities
