A prestigious and well-established hedge fund with approximately $8 billion in assets under management is seeking an experienced European Institutional Sales professional to join their high-performing Distribution team.
Overview
You will be responsible for driving asset growth across Europe by developing and managing relationships with institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, consultants, and family offices.
Responsibilities
- Raise assets from European institutional investors across the firm’s fund strategies
- Manage and deepen existing investor relationships while identifying new opportunities
- Collaborate with investment and product teams to effectively communicate fund performance and positioning
- Represent the firm at industry events, roadshows, and client meetings across Europe
- Maintain a strong understanding of hedge fund products, regulatory considerations, and market trends
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in hedge fund distribution or institutional sales
- Proven track record of raising capital from European institutional investors
- Deep network of institutional contacts across key European markets
- Strong understanding of alternative investments and hedge fund strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- European language skills are a plus (but not essential)
