This is for an e-commerce retailer headquartered in Manchester, with a strong direct-to-consumer model and an expanding digital presence across the UK and international markets.
Operating in a fast-paced, data-driven retail environment, the business combines commercial agility with strong brand positioning and continues to invest heavily in digital capability, customer acquisition and operational efficiency.
With consistent revenue growth and ambitious expansion plans, the finance team plays a critical role in supporting trading performance, margin optimisation and long-term strategic planning.
The Role
Act as a true business partner to Ecommerce, Trading and Commercial leadership teams, providing insight, challenge and financial guidanceLead budgeting, forecasting and reforecast cycles aligned to digital growth and trading performance targetsDeliver P&L reporting and detailed variance analysis across online channelsProvide commercial analysis on pricing, promotions, customer acquisition spend and margin performanceBuild and evaluate business cases for new initiatives, marketing investment and digital optimisation projectsSupport scenario modelling and strategic planning to drive revenue growth and cost efficiencyImprove reporting processes, financial controls and forecasting accuracy across ecommerce operationsAbout You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance roleBackground within retail, ecommerce or consumer-facing environmentsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior non-finance stakeholdersAdvanced Excel and strong financial modelling capabilityConfident communicator able to translate complex financial data into clear business insightExperience working in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsWhat’s on Offer
