Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle from pre‑qualification through to tender submission
• Develop compelling, high‑quality bid submissions that align with client requirements and company strategy
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including pre‑construction, design, commercial and operational staff
• Analyse tender documents, identify key win themes and implement winning strategies
• Manage bid programmes, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
• Review and refine written content to ensure clarity, consistency and impact
• Conduct post‑tender reviews and continuous improvement of bid processes
• Build strong internal and external relationships to support successful bid outcomes

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager within the construction industry, ideally with a Tier 1 or large main contractor
• Strong understanding of the UK construction market and procurement processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentStrong stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Experience working on large‑scale, complex construction projects is highly desirable
