Software Engineering Manager

Advantive is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing development team responsible for our market-leading SaaS platform for specialty manufacturers and distributors. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on driving quality, innovation, and alignment with Advantive’s values across our Israel‑based engineering team.

As the most senior technical leader in‑region, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring technical excellence, maintaining product stability, and fostering a strong connection between our global teams. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a distributed team of engineers through coaching, feedback, and accountability.
• Partner closely with Product Management, QA, and Customer Success to deliver high‑quality features and performance improvements in our SaaS products.
• Drive technical strategy, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement across development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Ensure system performance and platform stability, particularly for our iPaaS and Android applications.
• Champion modern software development practices, including Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps excellence.
• Lead efforts to resolve product performance and scalability, collaborating with teams across AWS‑based environments.
• Model clear, transparent communication and “extreme ownership” in every initiative — from technical outcomes to team culture.
• Actively engage in architectural reviews, code‑level design decisions, and technical deep dives to guide teams toward scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Partner with other Senior Development Managers across Advantive to share best practices, align on architecture standards, and promote consistent engineering excellence across all product lines.
• Own delivery commitments, quality metrics, and release cadence to ensure predictable execution and continuous improvement.
