J&T Recruitment has been exclusively retained by a high-growth FinTech company in Bristol to appoint a Principal Software Engineer to lead the development of highly scalable microservices powering next-generation financial products.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable microservices using Go
- Lead architectural decisions across backend systems
- Mentor and support senior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to deliver new platform capabilities
Requirements
- 7+ years software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Go, distributed systems, and microservices
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Strong leadership and architectural design skills
