Do you have experience of managing and analysing data to support service delivery and are you keen to play a key role in supporting Adult Learning programmes that help residents develop new skills and progress in work and learning? If so, you could be the perfect fit for our Adult Learning Data Coordinator role in the Employment and Skills Team at East Sussex County Council.
Key Responsibilities
As Data Coordinator, you will play a central role in maintaining high standards of data quality across Adult Learning programmes. You will support the preparation, validation and submission of learner and programme data, ensuring information is accurate, complete and compliant. Through reporting, analysis and forecasting, you will support performance monitoring and informed decision‑making, while identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement. Working closely with colleagues and delivery partners, you will support audit and assurance activities and provide line management and support to the Adult Learning Data Officer.
This role is a one‑year fixed‑term contract with the potential for extension, subject to funding.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a data‑focused role involving reporting, data quality and performance monitoring.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to produce accurate information that supports decision‑making.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
