Java Fullstack Engineer Wanted for a Top Banking Client in Leeds!

Calling all experienced Java Fullstack Engineers!

• We’re searching for a high‑impact developer (8–15 years of experience) to join a major banking client in Leeds, UK.
• This role is available as a Permanent position or a 6‑month Contract.

Mandatory Requirement: Deep, hands‑on expertise with Java 17.

• You’ll be a core member of an agile team, focused on their critical credit decisioning engine.
• This means designing and deploying highly scalable, resilient backend microservices and owning the DevOps pipelines on GCP (Google Cloud Platform).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on GCP.
• Developing robust RESTful APIs.
• Ensuring quality through comprehensive automated testing.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and Architects to drive technical strategy.
• Cloud/DevOps: Practical knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure and CI/CD.
• Frontend: Familiarity with React or Angular.

Bonus Points for: Experience with GCP data services (BigQuery, Spanner, etc.) or exposure to Generative AI tools like LangChain/LangGraph.
