Have you been considering a trade career? We are looking for an enthusiastic individualto join our Wiltshireteam as an Apprentice Electrician.
This year we are looking to award a successful candidate an Electricalapprenticeship within our team in Devizes. You will live within Wiltshire to ensure that you can share travel with members of the team.
Youll consider yourself to have a can do approach, youll enjoy problem solving and youll be happy to start building towards your portfolio from the beginning of your apprenticeship.
Well be supporting you to work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Installation & Maintenance, which will hopefully lead to a very successful career. The apprenticeship will take approximately 48 months to complete.
During the week youll work with your team out and about in the community in customers homes and sometimes empty properties to complete electrical based tasks. Initially you will work with your mentor to learn the electricalskills required for the role, whilst completing technical learning with our training provider and as you become more confident youll be completing tasks yourself.
From the beginning of your apprenticeship you will be responsible for completing all works related to the qualification, this is key to ensure you remain on track. Youll be taking pictures of work you have completed to build your portfolio and youll accurately record your off the job training to ensure that the records are up to date.
About you
Youll be excited about becoming an apprentice and youll want to really work hard for it.
You will need to have passes in Maths and English GCSE of Grades 4/C and aboveand youll be happy to work towards gaining your driving licence during your apprenticeship if you dont have it already.
It doesnt matter if you havent attended college to complete any trade studies as yet as well work with our training provider to ensure you receive all the training you need.
It is planned that you will attend Trowbridge or Salisbury College, depending on where you live, to complete your apprenticeship and well make arrangements for your college place as part of your recruitment.
