Commercial Finance Analyst

Totum Partners is working with an international Law firm to recruit 2 Group Finance Business Analysts. These roles can be back in London, Birmingham or Manchester, and the employer is looking for part-qualified candidates currently working in Legal or Professional Services/LLP firms with some commercial finance experience, and strong communication/stakeholder management skills for a business-facing analytical role.

Group Finance Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Support 2 fee-earning Practice Groups, providing financial analysis and insights to monitor financial health and inform strategic decision-making
• Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare management reports and commentary
• Presentation of analysis and reports to Partners and other senior (financial and non-financial) stakeholders
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Profitability and utilisation analysis and reporting
• Provide assistance with pricing queries and analysis
• Implement process improvements and automations to streamline efficiency

Group Finance Business Analyst Experience:

• APPLICANTS MUST BE CURRENTLY WORKING IN A LEGAL OR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES/LLP ENVIRONMENT
• Part ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
• Evidence of strong financial analytical experience
• Prior business partnering/commercial finance experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
