Data Centre Developer

Location: London, UK

Package: ~£200,000 basic + 30% bonus + benefits

We are seeking an exceptional Regional Director to lead the growth and delivery of a UK-based portfolio for a leading data centre developer. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who combines strategic development expertise with deep construction knowledge and can take projects from early-stage origination through design, procurement, delivery and handover.

The Role

Lead regional data centre development and construction activity across multiple projects and workstreams.

Oversee the full project lifecycle from site acquisition support, planning and design development through to construction, commissioning and operational readiness.

Coordinate internal and external stakeholders including development, design, commercial, legal, planning, contractors, consultants and utility partners.

Drive programme certainty, cost control, risk management and delivery performance across complex, mission-critical builds.

Provide strategic leadership on procurement, contract strategy, delivery sequencing and construction execution.

Ensure projects meet technical, regulatory, health and safety, sustainability and quality standards.

Build strong relationships with investors, landowners, local authorities, supply chain partners and senior client stakeholders.

Mentor and lead high-performing teams across development and construction functions.

About You

Proven senior leadership experience in the data centre, mission-critical or major infrastructure sector.

Strong track record in both development and construction, with the ability to bridge strategy and execution.

Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex projects in live or high-specification environments.

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts, programme risk and stakeholder expectations.

Excellent understanding of planning, design coordination, contractor management, construction delivery and commissioning.

Credibility with executive stakeholders and the ability to influence at board, investor and delivery-team level.

A collaborative, decisive and hands-on leadership style.

Relevant degree or professional qualification in construction, engineering, real estate, project management or a related field is preferred.

£200,000 basic salary (negotiable DOE)

30% annual bonus
