Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Maternity Cover Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and execution. You will play a key role in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth across all our dealership locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry and a passion for delivering innovative marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Work with the Marketing and Communications Director to develop the quarterly Marketing plans. Upload plans to manufacturer systems and ensure that brand requirements are met within the quarter.
- Campaign Management: Work with the Marketing and Communications Director to develop engaging and results driven campaigns.
- Brand & Content Development: Manage brand positioning, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee PPC, SEO, social media with Digital Marketing Executive and website performance with Marketing Executive, to optimize online visibility and lead generation.
- Event Management: Oversee organization and promotion of dealership events and test-drive days, and be the first point of contact for sponsorship opportunities to increase customer engagement.
- Partnerships & Promotions: Collaborate with automotive manufacturers and external agencies to enhance marketing initiatives and maximize promotional opportunities.
- Management Relationships: Oversee management requests to the Marketing inbox. Be the first responder to the marketing inbox updates and manage the GBL and Digital Agency relationship.
- Reporting & Analysing: Report on all marketing activities, bringing together the reports from the Digital Marketing Executive and Marketing Executive to present to Marketing and Communications Director. Run competitor reports regularly. Create a weekly update communication for all site and senior managers.
- Team Leadership: Manage the day to day aspect of the marketing team.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Marketing Manager role, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, social media, and email marketing.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in using GA4, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging marketing campaigns and content.
- Experience in event planning and brand partnerships is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
