This is a role where pace, agility and commercial instinct are key. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring our contracts perform in dynamic, ever‑changing environments where customer expectations are high and operational excellence is essential.

Strategic Commercial Leadership

  • Identify and capitalise on revenue and margin opportunities across a fast‑moving portfolio
  • Provide hands‑on commercial support to Account Directors and Managers
  • Support winning and retaining key retail and transport contracts in competitive markets

Contract & Performance Management

  • Oversee commercial processes including variations, pricing changes, and compliance tracking
  • Ensure price uplifts and indexation are implemented accurately and on time
  • Maintain strong governance of contract documentation and data accuracy

Operational & Financial Impact

  • Support mobilisations and re‑mobilisations in live, customer‑facing environments
  • Lead commercial input into account performance reviews, re‑pricing, and turnaround strategies
  • Work closely with operational teams to quickly resolve disputes and minimise disruption

Insight, Risk & Reporting

  • Deliver clear, real‑time insight into risks, opportunities, and performance trends
  • Enable quick decision‑making to protect margin and drive growth

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Build strong relationships with clients in fast‑paced retail and transport environments
  • Coach and support teams with practical commercial guidance and training
  • Contribute to wider business priorities and improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Your Experience & Expertise

  • Proven commercial leadership within the FM sector, ideally supporting retail or transport environments
  • Strong track record of driving profitability in high‑volume, operationally complex contracts
  • Deep understanding of commercial models, pricing mechanisms, and contract frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and performance‑driven commercial risk
  • Experienced in negotiation and dispute management in live environments

Your Skills & Style

You are a proactive and commercially driven leader who thrives in fast‑paced, customer‑focused environments. You bring energy and resilience, with the ability to stay calm and solution‑focused under pressure while managing competing priorities. A strong communicator, you build credibility quickly with stakeholders and clients, confidently influencing decisions and driving performance. You are highly organised and analytical, able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight at pace. With a practical, hands‑on approach and strong negotiation skills, you are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels to deliver results.

Why Join Us?

This is an exciting opportunity to lead commercial performance across some of the most dynamic and customer‑driven sectors, where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering value in fast‑paced retail and transport environments, working closely with senior stakeholders and clients to influence outcomes and drive growth. As part of a forward‑thinking and collaborative organisation, you’ll have the autonomy to make real impact—enhancing performance, shaping strategy, and progressing your career in a role where pace, challenge, and opportunity go hand in hand.

Ready to Take the Lead?

If you’re ready to bring your commercial expertise to a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment, we would love to hear from you.
