Technical Contracts Engineer Job Overview
- Creating quotations and estimated labour, materials and tooling
- Receiving and processing project enquiries from customers
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Reviewing budgets for projects
- Contract reporting, monitoring and overseeing expenditures
- Assisting the introduction of new machinery within the manufacturing department
- Reviewing and responding to audits
Technical Contracts Engineer Job Requirements
- Proven background within estimating, contracts / project management, within an engineering environment
- Qualifications within engineering / manufacturing
- Based in a commutable distance of Brownhills, Walsall
- Good understand of manufacturing processes
- Basic 2D CAD drawing skills
Technical Contracts Engineer Salary & Benefits
- £40,000 – £44,000 – depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30. Friday 08:00 – 13:30.
- 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays
- Company pension scheme
