Transport Planning Manager

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and improving overall operational performance of the site, with a focus on routing efficiency/planning.
• Direct line management of operational drivers and administrative staff.
• Ensuring all vehicles are manned appropriately to facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitoring all activity on site, including opening and closing.

Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics/operations management and route planning for multiple high-volume deliveries.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and Microsoft skills.
• Ability to work in a team, manage, organise, prioritise workload to meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility.
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel for meetings, training, or site visits.

In return you can expect a salary of £38,000 – £40,000 pa, plus benefits, with working Monday to Friday. We are interested in speaking to candidates who have extensive route‑planning experience and are looking for a step up to management or are already in a similar role.
